| Molex connectors - again. I have been helping a friend set up a inspo he has just bought and one of the connectors has broken on the loom, inside the molex block. I think he would feel better knowing AP had done it but will he have to fork out for a full service? He has put new cells in the unit but they are getting on and may be older than the 18 months but have just come out of the bags, if he removes them will AP fit new ones anyway? Will it be as easy to order the connectors and fit them ourselves, bearing in mind the handsets may be cracked and full of water ![]() |

| Re: Molex connectors - again. Do a quick search on here for crimping tools and I posted a link to a place you can get them from for a tenner. APD will sell you the connectors if you have the tool to do the job. HTH!

| Re: Molex connectors - again. Molex aren't difficult to change yourself, just need a little patience. I reckon you want to remove the black plastic case (simple to do) and have a look to see if there is any water inside both handsets. If water is inside then you may as well send the head into AP to fix the molex as well (maybe consider an upgrade from molex). I reckon if the cells are past 18 months AP will change them. They go by date code printed on each cells.

Thanks there is no water, I checked that first before buying it I reckon you want to remove the black plastic case (simple to do) and have a look to see if there is any water inside both handsets.
