Anton,

Personally, I am not sure I understand the term "tanklamp" probably due to translation from German to English.

What is the function of this item ?

Re: tanklamp

I presume Anton means a cannister light.

Tanklamp - the name comes from tank (cylinder) and lamp (light), typically because a lot of divers attach the cannister to the cylinder on their back.

Re: tanklamp

Hello

You already have two holes on each side for the EV92 Evolution off-board cylinder case plate (metalsub).

ev92_2.jpg

This is far away the very best solution to mount the canister of your lamp. On the other side you can use the same system to mount a cylinder (e.g. Argon dry suit inflation).

Kind regards

Re: tanklamp

Sounds like Anton wants to use something a little more fun than a boring dive torch.

Lamp from tank, surely?

Re: tanklamp

Hello

The German expresssion for "Tanklampe" comes from:

Tank = Canister (holding the accus)
Lampe = Light

Its the German standard expression for all canister diving lights.

Kind regards

Re: tanklamp

Thanks guys, it sounds obvious now. But for some reason, I was thinking "HUD" at the time so just wanted to make sure...

Re: tanklamp

My Flexi II Greenforce canister fits neatly into what I think is the suit inflation cylinder holder on the right hand side. It's a perfect fit.

Yep, I'm doing the same thing. Works like a charm and no drilling.
