| Consent Issued! Current Rebreather/s: | Vision dive time keeps going Last week I did a dive in the morning of about 60 minutes. I turned off the unit for the surface interval. In the afternoon I was 40 minutes into another dive, when I noticed that the dive timer was showing 100 minutes. All other numbers on the display seemed sensible so no real problem, but.....?? Anyone else seen this? |

| Re: Vision dive time keeps going Hi, Wonder if this is another symptom of the problem discussed before with the partial switch on of the unit? I recall it being mentioned to hold down the on button until the handset had stopped beeping. Did you do this in this instance? Steve |

| Re: Vision dive time keeps going we have not had any timer issues since holding the button down firmly for 3 seconds when firing up as directed by AP via email.

Trimix 02.01.02Thanks Dan I did have a version that worked once. Next time I have one that works, I'll just ignore any upgrades......... |

Hi Gill.The latest email i recieved from ap is dated 04/07-2006 regarding the software update v02.01.02. Can you confirm any other "public"email from ap concerning the push and hold procedure when starting up? regards Allan |

What...you mean like having to keep the key turned in the ignition until the engine starts? Only pulling your leg mate... it is a poor feature... if it doesn't get held down long enough it should fail safe... Steve |

| Re: Vision dive time keeps going Trimix 02.01.02 I don't think AP fully gets how this is comming off for folks, it's much more serious to us than it appears to be for them... it really does make you not want to fix what ain't broke. my wife's was upgraded at the factory with no problems since...i'm leery of updating mine since i baught it in april since i have not had any of these issues with the timing.I did have a version that worked once. Next time I have one that works, I'll just ignore any upgrades.........
