New Inspiration Vision, Counterlung Holes and Backplates etc. Hi, I've got a new Inspiration vision, and was going to slap on a custom divers backplate and vbs wing and have run in a number of problems. Firstly the counterlungs have one set of holes in them, so are not adjustable as in the past. The CD plate has its top hole a couple of inches from the top, so when you attach the plate, it is slightly in the way of the lungs as they start to bend over and may change the way they bend. I see a way around this would be to drill a higher hole in the back plate so its sits without the top of it going into the lungs so much. The other problem is that the inflator from the wing digs into the corner of the inhale counterlung because the lungs don't clear high enough. Now if I puntured an additional set of holes in the lungs and sat them higher, so they cleared away from the inflator (I think this would be the case - I need to check) then would the breathing be effected? On the older inspirations when people used the lungs in either hole, did things feel different? What is the best thing to do? Leave the counterlungs on their one and only supposedly good setting and have then wing inflator dig into the lung top. Or add additional holes and sit them higher? Or any other ideas? I could just use the original wing and harness Nick..

Re: New Inspiration Vision, Counterlung Holes and Backplates etc. Nick, I do not have the problem that you mentioned in your PM with mine. BTW... I am very happy with the CD VBS wing. Dive Safe Mark

Re: New Inspiration Vision, Counterlung Holes and Backplates etc. Do you have two sets of holes in your counterlungs (older inspiration)? If you do, and have the bolts in the bottom set, so the lungs sit higher and clear the top of the wing, then maybe that's what you have? Maybe I need to get some pictures. Maybe I'm going mad.

Re: New Inspiration Vision, Counterlung Holes and Backplates etc. Yup, got the black grey ones. Spoke to AP and they said that there is only one set of holes now. Apparently they have moved the t-pieces and got everything in position for optimum breathing, trying to get the cl as close to the lungs as possible....
