| Evo is HERE...Friday night's demo My Evo came in Thursday, just in time to have it on display at the Long Beach Scuba Show. Cliff and Warren from SDS came to our shop Friday night and did a demo (with my unit, and an Insp w/Vision Electronics). All in all we had about 8 guys in the pool trying the new units. Too bad they all got to use my unit before I did...haha. The survey shows that the Evo is the way to go. The size, weight and comfort is unbeatable. I plan on posting breakdown photos of the unit in the upcoming weeks, so stay tuned. (sorry, just getting over show stuff). Now I just need to take it diving this weeken, Ill give a report when I get back.

Comfort - nah you want your own custom harness ![]() Does look super sexy though! Stuart |

Don't worry, he hasn't been diving it yet. ![]() Taking a wild guess, Mike is probably exhausted from the weekend. He brought two display cases full of cameras, housings and lights, as well as a tower of cases. All that stuff has to go back into the store and get set up there again. His booth was super busy, I doubt he even found the time to check out Tobin's backplate setup. By tonight he'll probably push his Evo home on cart in front of him breathing pure O2. ![]() As for his Evo's weight, I won't comment. ![]()

I ordered my unit a long time ago HOWEVER I understood that the official launch date was not until March 2005. I too received my unit last week which makes a 9 week delay between launch and delivery. Not bad IMHO. Andrew I dove all weekend and loved the unit. Westwinds.
