How old is the unit?

Has it been back to AP for a service?

Cracked handset?

do you mean every 3-5 hrs after each battary change or do you mean the warning comes on sporadically. have you changed out the battary, i'm assuming you have...did you make sure it was the master (i believe it's the one closest to the solenoid)?

Master battery box is labelled so that I do not make mistakes! Master battery is lasting 3hrs to 5hrs, normally it does 10hrs+. What I will try is change them both and take not!

Re: Master - low battery

I've heard of power drains like that caused by cracked handsets, and also from a dodgy on/off switch (not the magnetic sliders).

Unless you can find something tangible, and you can then fix - I reckon it'll need a look over by AP (Who I expect will clain it's cracked handsets! )

Now that's not the attitude is it! So young, and yet so cynical.

Have yopu checked the IP ? - High IP makes the unit use the batterys quicker..

Do you always use the same handset as master (assume you do)?

Have you tried using the other one as master instead to try and isolate the problem?

I'd also do as Nick said & check you O2 IP.
