AP MP Hose Fittings

Hi,
Does anyone know whether the ap mp hose fittings are ok to detach and attach at depth? I thinking about changing everything I have to just have ap hoses and fittings.
Thanks,
Nick..

Re: AP MP Hose Fittings

Nick,

Are you refering to the GSC system??

Yes you can connect them underwater...

Do not disconnect under water unless you want the hoses to flood.

But nice and easy to repair/fix hoses with these fittings during a diving trip or at home

Re: AP MP Hose Fittings

Yeah I guess easy repair job is a good advantage.
Say I have the correct nipple fittings on my wing and drysuit to connect the ap hose to; wouldn't I be able to swap the hose from one to the other underwater? I didn't know the hose would flood? I thought the air pressure would keep the water out?

The hose doesn't flood

Re: AP MP Hose Fittings

Bad reply on my part :-)

The hose doesn't flood on disconnect, but on disassembly
