4th cell holder for Evolution

Does anyone know if theres a 4-5 cell holder in the works for an Evolution that allows hookup of a VR 3 like Beanie's setup? If so please provide contact info, thanks

Russ, you are slowing down, dude...

On the 4th cell threads, I have asked about the Vision (i.e. Evo) version and the answers were...

Someone is in the process of designing/making one so (hopefully) will be available soon.

John (narked@90) didn't want to step on toes by making one as well - which BTW John, I think is bollock since competition brings innovations...

Re: 4th cell holder for Evolution

why do you have a problem with me not wanting to be a total ****** by copying some ones designe before they can releace it?
if i do a cell holder for the vision it will be the same as divelifes,
the cell holder me and beanie did was very differant from brets but this feature is not nesasery in the vision.
i will contact bret to see how close he is with it and if he's not going to bother then i'll make it.
kind regards john

John,

Chill...

I don't want you to be a ******, I simply didn't know that you already know how the DiveLife is going to look like.

However, being such a creative person, I would be surprised if you can't come up with a better version.

Anyway, up to you what you want to do, the demand is there and there is no product available.

Guys thanks for the feedback, John you did mention that divelife was working on one but seems to be going slow and seeing how you are the man and your product is usually exceptional I thought this might motivate some freindly competition.
I am not encouraging you to step on any toes, but if divelifes not not moving on it, I can help you sell some here in the states for sure. I know 3 people that want them right now.

Re: 4th cell holder for Evolution

hi rusty i have sent an email to Bret at dive live to see how far he's got with this or if it's just vapour ware,
if he doing nothing then i will produce one, but i have to give him the chance to come good, it realy hurts when you put work in on some thing then to have some other bugger rip it from you.......mmmm bit of a sore point that one
kind regards john

Mick F is an unknown quantity at this point
Re: 4th cell holder for Evolution

TBH I'd pay for a decent three cell holder that didn't give me all the grief of the APD one. How hard can it be to design something that doesn't chew up cell threads at every opportunity.

And yes I do have some mechanical sympathy........right up to the point where I bounce the f**ker off the wall as it cross threads yet again!!

Hi Mick i do sympathis with you on this one, it doesnt help the cells having such a fine thread in a soft plastic it would be better to just have a course thread in some thing so soft.
but im afraid that is some thing i dont have comtrole over.....the cells that is.
regards john
