Halcyon CCR wing on Evo or Inspir?

Anyone tried this wing on the Inspiration or Evo units yet?

Do you have any problems with the inflator blocking the breathing hoses ?

Wow, Bill I figured you would be one of the last people to dive with a big "H" anywhere on his rebreather

Nick,

I turned the Inflator in and have it dropping inside of the inhale counterlung, it just needs to be longer. There is no problem with breathing hose intereference, I do wish it was 45lbs of lift for when slinging 7 ltr bottles though.

We have been diving the wing all week on the O2ptima unit and I dove it last week on my Inspiration, quite nice actually.

The DR folks about shite themselves when they saw Marks O2ptima with a Halcyon CCR wing and backplate.

According to the product release flyer, the big H designed it for true strokes, I mean the KISS divers.

Well, we are here in FL now, stopped by the gestopo hq, i mean Extreme exp. They must be hard up, they are now renting out inner tubes to tourists for river floating.

I must say though, the inner tube rental units are DIR. all black, inflator orfice in same place and all have the same exact fill pressure.

Oh, and you have to take a $500 fundies class on floating on your

program before you can rent the tube....

LOL. I showed up to my Meg class with a Halcyon single tank wing (it was the smallest wing I owned at the time). My instructor expected either the wing or the rebreather to burst into flames when I put them together.

Here is a very funny story... Back in Feb a group of CCR divers and myself got our cave cert in Florida. While we were down there we ended up buying a couple Halcyon items. While gearing up for a dive at Ginnie a couple days after our trip to the store we all agreed that we did not like the Halcyon logos. We felt like they were bad mojo. I pulled out a razerblade and we promply started cutting the logo patches off. As they started piling up one of the guys said "I bet someone would buy these". We all laughed it off. The funny thing is that when we got back home the following week he put them on e-bay two at a time and they sold like hotcakes!!! Based on the money that was gotten for the logos the prices for the items were almost reasonable...

When I am sending you the package, I will include tons of Halcyon logos I have cut off over the years. We'll split whatever you could get for them...
