Ultralight Inspiration - how light can you go?

Moved from Gabi's thread on his Ultralight Inspiration

Surely the ultimate would be to chuck the lot in a lightweight daysack? CL's on the shoulder straps, valves up and with the hoses coming through the top. Maybe a camband round the middle to stop things rolling about... Would take any any size of cylinder... Room for sandwiches and SMBs in the sidepouches...

A winner, methinks.

My mind is working overtime here, thinking about all the possible ways of making a minimalist Inspiration using a small rucksack.

I think that we could have a little competition on our hands here - see who can get the lightest divable unit....

Ok so what are the rules? (so its fair)

2*3L cylinders
Classic scrubber
dil and O2 inflate
lungs (medium will be lighter right

)

what about a bailout reg?
no ADV?
what about gauges O2 only?

Yep. Reckon that sets the goal posts.

ADV optional, but as I have one, I'm not gonna buy a blank T-Piece just for this excercise!
OC bailout optional, but remember we're looking at the total travel package, so if you require an additional reg for seperate OC bailout, it kind of defeats the objective a bit and something like the Autoair would be lighter for sure - of course the builder/bodger could decide that Alpinist is OK?!
Guages also optional, but I reckon button guages should be a minimum.
Manual injectors - reckon the dil one is optional if you have an ADV...

What about a bouyancy source? Do we need a seperate wing, or could we say that the counterlungs alone are sufficient.....

hmm - just thought I have 4 injectors even with blanks that's a disadvantage - damm Lou's unit is the same - do you think black is light than purple

Bouyancy source is required I think in weight vs safety I think we should go for the safety option.

Bouyancy source (other than lungs)
lungs
bailout consideration

We can go for a no limits as well but that's not really a fiar comparison

but then you'll have to add the weight of that over a wetsuit we're travelling light here not just making a light inspo

How about...

2*3L cylinders
Inspiration scrubber (and not Evolution)
Classic or Vision electronics are acceptable
O2 inflate
dil inflate or ADV
Wing (What is the point of travel light ? To warmwater))
OTS-CL or BMCL are acceptable
separate bailout - not part of package.
BOV used as self-penalty
All hardness systems accepted (APD, BP, BCD)
