Evolution 1st Stages

Would it be wise if I wanted to swap out the original 1st stages with say something I would rather service myself? Like a set of Apex DS4 or similar?

Could do but you can service the AP 1st stages APD sell the service kit.

I'm not very fond of the 1st stages to begin with but I guess could call up SDS and get a price on what the maintenance kit costs.

I think the new Inspo Visions are going to start shipping with the AP 1st Stages too (if they have not already).

I have switched both of my Evo's first stages for quality Apeks 50's and never regretted it. Just make sure you dial in the IP on the O2 side and your good to go, plus they are environmentally sealed !

The APD Evo 1st stages look similar to the Apeks UST 1st stages. I have got a couple of service kits for the 1st stages and they look the same as the Apeks service kits including the high pressure seat. I haven't serviced one yet but I wouldn't expect they would not be much different internally to the Apeks UST 1st stages if at all.

The word I have been given is that the Inspiration will shortly be converting to using the same 1st stages as the Evolution.
