I have a wreck background, and everything needs to be tucked away, shortened or removed that could get hooked up when digging in the rust. With the Standard AP harness, once you pull everything down, I get very long dangles from the lungs and shoulder straps! ? What do you guys do, have you trimmed, or do you just tuck them in ? ![]() |

| Re: Long Straps ... What to do ? Had exactly same feelings as you - spent this weekend switching to my old OMS backplate, one(ish) piece harness and wing. No modifications needed to back plate - just need to get some sensible length M8 stainless bolts - I think 3cm long is going to be just right. Seem to sit well in the black box with some large washers. Also put a short hose on the wing inflator so its clear of stages etc. Feels much cleaner on the front and no dangly bits - now just got to get it into the water to try it out Steve |
