| Explorer in Comparison to Vision Software I wonder if anyone out here uses the Explorer as a Backup for the Vision Software. I have used mine, the old Abyss type, for years with the classic Inspiration and now I think about getting it updatet and serviced by HydroSpace. So if there are any Experiences how close the HS Explorer works together with the Vision Software I would like to hear about it. |

As the Evolution uses Gradient Factors you will be able to dial them in relativly closely for overall run times.RGBM +1 and GF 10/95 will give comparable run times for a lot of dives. Use something like GAP to plan the dive for both RGBM and GF then you can tweak the settings to give comparable run times (gas choice and dive profile affect each algo differently) A bunch of people use gradient factors on one computer and RGBM on another, including me with my Meg Shearwater and jradoskmi with his hammerhead. What you will find is that the Explorer will typically control your deep stops and the GF computer typically your shallow stops but obviously this depends on what you set the GF high too. Stuart
