| Custom Title Allowed! ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Water in loop ..... Hello all, Last sunday did +ve and _ve tests and +ve test was not that good but did the dive.During dive I had some water in the loop and cleared it. During dive I was hearing a loud noise and was not happy about it. After dive had water in lung and about /less than 8mm in canister! What could have been wrong and from where to start checking loop! Thanks

| Re: Water in loop ..... I had a slow leak on positive test the last time I put my Evolution together. Nothing serious - but annoying. I sprayed everything with soapy water, checked all the hose connections, regreased o rings and tightened everything up. I still couldn't stop the leak. ![]() Dumped the whole unit in a tub of water and found a slight leak around the seal on the dil manual add on the counter lung. As you tightened up the add valve it can loosen the fitting on the lung (left hand thread!). 13mm hex allen key and bob is your uncle. Been holding a positive test for three days now! If you can't find a leak on positive test dump it in a tub of water and follow the bubbles. ![]()
