Vision Communicator overwriting log files

Hi,

I have had a problem with the Vision communicator software overwriting existing files in the log directory on my PC. This is a pain when you have added dive information to the file on the PC!!

The software is meant to skip files if they already exist on your PC but it was not happening. It looks like the software may have had a problem with the fact that the laptop is networked and the "My Documents" folder (where the installation locates the "APD Log files" folder by default) has a long file name.

At the suggestion of APD I changed the location of the download folder to one with a conventional / simple name (C:\TEST\... and subsequently T:\Diving\Log Files\....) and the software worked perfectly...skipping files as it was meant to.

Hope this helps anyone else who watched all their hand-entered data dissapear on the next download!!
