| Made in England. Current Rebreather/s: | Delta P. Fourth cell holder. I've just got back from a test dive, because i bought a 'Y' from D.P. and wanted to give i a whirl......Well.. it leaks!! Got to the dive site, did a neg pressure test, and it fails!! Do it again, and it fails!! So i do a positive test, and chuck it in the water, and dive in after it to take a look. °à#ç@K me, it's leaking air from the hose at the 'NEW 'Y' PIECE'. I got out, dissasembled and checked for water, in the head...it was minimal. anyway i've got home now, dissmantled and re.asemmbled for re.testing tommorow....in the bath!! Has anyone else had simular stories?? ![]()

| Sorry mate, but yes here too. Two probs - the hose didn't seem to mate properly to the threads (right to the end) and recently I found bubbles coming from the screws on the body of the 4th cell holder itself. I used LOTS of O2 grease on the threads and solved that prob. I tightened the three screws - one was jumping its threads (this is a brand new piece of kit folks! :mad ) - all but the one sealed. Positive pressure underwater showed a light leak still. At that point I got fed up and bunged all three up with more O2 grease. All OK now. You know what? If DeltaP just sold the codes for a reasonable price, I wouldn't bother with the Y-piece, just get the 5-cell holder from DiveLife. Half the price and no screw holes, and apparently better performance... HTH [Edit: O2 grease because it leaves a chalky build-up and will block holes longer...]

Here you can see the loop ring doesn't reach the end of the thread, but then i've noticed that the cap, which holds the fourth cell is chiped a bit too it's above the O rings but still......
