Inspiration Tear Down

I've just added 4 pictures from Lou's unit, showing the standard harness, the vision scrubber and how it fits. Please observe the lack of space around the first stages.

Hey, I found the.

Not easy when y'all gone diving.

Nice addition, it really is a tight fit. Why at the regs, did they change the box?
How much of a size difference is there between the Classic and Vision head / scrubber combos?

Lou needs to unsuspiciously add her BOD to the article.

... that's probably what people mean by "the Vision goes a long way"

I'll put the two next to each other when I set them up later in the week to show the difference in size.

The lack of space is due to you still using the old Inspiration box. the new box (with the new big black closures) has an improved "stand" for the vision scrubber to stand on, allowing enough space.

So its more like 25 -30 mm

Enough to make life difficult in the classic case

it does help to pu the cylinders in first though

Yep, the case that my Inspo is in, is the old Classic. Its also the case that was supplied when I purchased the unit. For the cost of a new case purely for this, I'll just put up with it for the time being

Lou,

the new case has another very nice feature: it contains an extension on the sides with pre-drilled holes for Metalsub-compatible quick-releases. The extension is there to make sure the bolts for fitting the quick-release do not touch the 3-liter cylinders. The quick-releases themselves are awsome and very versatile.
