| Interstage pressure I was just wondering, how far off can the interstage pressure be on an Inspiration Classic? Mine is at 8 bar and from what I know its supposed tobe 7.5 bar. I understand that if its too high the oxy solenoid might not open, and if too low it might not close. How far can it be off, or should I drain my oxy clyinder down to 50 bar and re-adjust the interstage pressure? |

In one case only 2 dives and the solenoid won't fire because of the low battery. As the pressure is too high the battery gets drained quicker - not to the point of the handset showing 'low battery' - but to the point of solenoid not firing - PPO2 still showing though. My experience tells me that it is around the 5.7V mark where you can experience problems with the solenoid. Bringing the line pressure back to 7.5 bar and the batteries will last a minimum of 30 dives there abouts. I understand that if its too high the oxy solenoid might not open, and if too low it might not close. How far can it be off, or should I drain my oxy clyinder down to 50 bar and re-adjust the interstage pressure? I haven't experienced the effects of a low line pressure - but can imagine problems occuring on deepish dives Regards, Karl |
