![]() | Re: Paul C’s Inspo with back-mounted lungs. One downside I see to this design is that while you can still manually inject diluent, you can't plug in any offboard gas. I don't do this on a regular basis, but I think it's important for redundancy for longer dives. One of your options in the event of dead electronics is to go SCR. Having the ability to use your offboard gas is very beneficial IMO. |

This could easily be addressed with the addition of a hose and swagelok quick connect piped into the Dil side of the manifold.Dive Safe... Mark |

I'm OK with carrying 2 x 80's which will get me out of 99% of the max depth in the English Channel (generally max 85m) and if it came to it get back on the loop for o2 Rebreather. Having a connection to the manifold as Mark suggets would work. I plug the offboard mix to a BOV direct. I could switch between OC and CC and easily double bailout volumes for example. But thats an option. For me it comes done to the fact that I can't escape OC and I no longer see the need for back-up ppo2 monitoring or back up o2. SCR can't be counted on and will always remain an option. If its there, great, but I won't count on it. Cheers Paul BTW: the BMCL kits will be winging their way out of my door in about 3 weeks (when I have finished my final exams). Watch this space. ![]()

![]() | Re: Paul C’s Inspo with back-mounted lungs. Paul, Count me in on your first batch of ten as well for one kit. I have been thinking of doing something similier for so long until I looked at your idea. You have polished the mod so well with the o2 add that It is better than anything I could have come up with on my own. Anyone like me interested in Paul doing a batch in Titanium? Regards, Steve Cooper |

![]() | I just received Paul's BMCL a couple of days ago but have have not had a chance to get in the water with it yet because of work. Today is my first day off so I will be playing with it and setting everythink up. At first glance I will say Paul did an outstanding job. Everything need is included and it even came with a Power Point CD explaining set up. The only thing I an going to do is de burr a few of the SS edges on the box a tad more. I hope to dive the mod next week when I get some time. Thanks Paul for an outstanding mod. Regards, Steve Cooper |

Steve Cooper I got mine a few weeks ago, but my usual travelling meant that I still have not got it wet! It came exactly when Paul said it would, packaged beautifully but I still haven't got it out of the box. I was in Norway last week, and have the house to get back together after the decorators were in........... the house is lovely, but a mess! I'll be very glad when we move! I hope to get it together for Scapa (5th August) and will post a trip report!
