Re: Paul C’s Inspo with back-mounted lungs.

Paul,

Looks like a cracking piece of kit...

What are the dimentions of the box itself? What I'm really interested in knowing is how it would fit an Evo...

If it's not outsized... or there was an option for an Evo sized box then I'd be up for one of the kits should they go into production.

Also, I'd guess it was either normal harness or exisitng Evo harness... it's only a couple of bolts I suppose.

Excellent piece of work... very neat indeed.

Cheers,

Mark

BTW... have a greenie

OK, perhaps I'll do a batch of 5 for starters. 10 would be better though folks - you'll all benefit as I can pass the savings on.

So far, it'll be:
1. Divegryl - PAID
2. Andy
3. Decowarrior
4. Edster - cos he reaaaaally wants one or 'a.n.other', but Edster's got the breaking strain of a kit-kit on this occasion - I can sense it
5. ????????...whos the lucky one..??

6 - 10..?? (UK based divers to begin with please).

I want to sort out some details with the s.s box and firm up on manufacturers who are prepared to do it in small batches - then get one made, Q.A. it so I am happy and then,as the rest of it is done, it'll be in the post pretty quickly i'd suggest.

I'll do it as readily as I can. In 4 months I will be a Chartered Architect so I really have got quite a lot on at the moment - this will not suffer, just bear with me whilst I sort out the details. Thanks.

regards
paul

Thank you Mark. It was not designed to use an existing APD harness - they are very different. It was designed for use with a normal 50mm webbing harness.

I've not spent too much time looking at the Evo, nice piece of kit it is though, so the question is: do you think you can get a typical backplate on it..??

You will appreciate that I cannot offer bespoke design services for a stock design price.

Paul I certainly think from reading another thread that everyone here appreciates that work comes first & hobby related items second .
BTW good luck with becoming an Architect .

Thank you. Its been a long journey to get to 'the beginning' - 12 years, and yes that 'other thread' says a lot of good things.

Paul, Mark, Deep Sea Supply has adapters to mount a backplate/harness to the Evolution using the stock counterlungs and either the stock or most other wings.

Two metal adapters level the uneven case.

Shown here with the DSS Kydex plate and stock wing.

Re: Paul C’s Inspo with back-mounted lungs.

Thank you Stefan. It seems possible. I intend to make the s.s box highly flexible in terms of its vertical positioning - this will aid the diver to getting it just how they want it.

Hi Paul!

A very nice solution to a common problem worldwide, "the cluttered chest". Do you have more pictures on the box? Keep up the good work!

Regards,

Carl
