| Re: Paul C’s Inspo with back-mounted lungs. Uhm... don't forget about the DT BMCL that has been used for the last 2-3 years as well... Same tidy and no SS hardware needed between the unit and diver... ![]() Very nice job Paul! Cheeky Oh, and thank you.

| Re: Paul C’s Inspo with back-mounted lungs. Yep, me too, not too keen on chopping up the lungs ![]() Absolutely. Though all you need do is cut out the big flappy material bit between them and add an extra bit of webbing across the back of the lung (under the T-piece) so it can be threaded onto the original harness should the mood take you... I'll post a piccy when I get back home. Actually, it makes the lungs detachable with minimal effort...

| Re: Paul C’s Inspo with back-mounted lungs. I agree DT BMCL is very good (Im diving it as you know) I am not sure why there is a need for a SS cage for the BMCL?? I find the best WOB is to have bugger all volume in the back part and all the volume at the shoulder - hence not sure of the benefit of SS cage - more weight (agghjhh!) to fly. And lets face reality soon nobody will be able to fly a rebreather anyplace that doesnt weigh 2kg It was designed for cold-water diving. Configuration possibilities are also improved. ![]() I forget what I paid in excess to dive the LOT..something like...$3500+ and $600+ in excess luggage!!! - Screw that Also, in answer to your PM (as your inbox is full and no emails etc) the kit princially contains the ss case and the t-piece. The rest is little bits and pieces you need, some spares, and an assembly guide with part numbers (for future maintenance), tips and lots of photos etc.

I've been earning wife-credit by building flowerbeds in the garden all weekend, so no RBW reading until now :-(Reply to paul@deepseascape.co.uk Cheers Cheers,

I'll post a piccy when I get back home. Heres one way of doing it that maintains the ability to thread the lungs back over the harness for OTS configuration. The spacing of the lungs with the flappy material bit didn't suit me anyway. I would have done this for OTS had I of thought about it:Actually, it makes the lungs detachable with minimal effort... ![]() ![]() HTH
