It was designed for cold-water diving. Configuration possibilities are also improved.

Also, in answer to your PM (as your inbox is full and no emails etc) the kit princially contains the ss case and the t-piece. The rest is little bits and pieces you need, some spares, and an assembly guide with part numbers (for future maintenance), tips and lots of photos etc.

Heres one way of doing it that maintains the ability to thread the lungs back over the harness for OTS configuration. The spacing of the lungs with the flappy material bit didn't suit me anyway. I would have done this for OTS had I of thought about it:
