| RBW Member Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Paul C’s Inspo with back-mounted lungs. Hi Rusty. I supplied 2 orings, as spares, and these are for the T-piece converter to T-piece. The manual add valves, whether in the converter or on the old 'original' fittings have just one o-ring, an APD one, which is considerably fatter. If you have my converter o-rings in the old manual inflater blanks, it will leak like a sieve. You ought to have the standard APD o-rings in them. Either this makes sense to you or it is not making sense to me. Paul, That did the trick I thought since the orings were in the same bag you were using them with the new blanking caps. I am getting in the water with the kit in an hour to check it out. Please post a picture to help ascertain what the problem is.Cheers P Thanks and will let you know how it went.

| Re: Paul C’s Inspo with back-mounted lungs. PM'd as well for good measure. Hello chaps, Your BMCL are done! I think it would be more practical to send them out in the New Year. In the meantime, go easy on the festivities and I'll see you in the freezing waters of January ![]() Thanks again for your support. I can only apologise for the timeframe. It didn't go as I had hoped. I have revised the assembly guide and it should be perfectly clear. However, please contact me for any assistance and stay in touch with your experiences. Seasons Greetings Paul Channing PS: For others who are interested, I have enough T-pieces etc waiting for s.s. boxes to complete 7 more kits. Hopefully the guys will post a few things too.

The machining is comparable in standard to larger scale manufacturers and even the disk with the manual is turned out well. Look forward to using it next week. Weather is even improving (in Scotland). Alex |

| Re: Paul C’s Inspo with back-mounted lungs. I have dived mine for 4 hours now and experimenting with the setup. First dive had a little harder breathing resistance than I was used to on the OTS lungs. Then I discovered the ends of the counter lungs where hovering 3-4cm off my back / shoulders. When they where fixed to the harness with a clip, things got much better. Breathing resistance when horizontal, it the same (as far as I can tell) as the original OTS configuration. When swimming, the kit makes a big change in the balance of the rig, it has improved tremendously. Like Paul said, with the BMCL it tends to put you more level in the water, like a wing. I for one really appreciate that. I was doing all right before on OTS when doing penetration dives, was not really bothered by the counter lungs in the front. But now they are gone, what a huge difference it makes! It's like back to the good old open circuit days, when you had all the mobility in the world, and no extra crap hanging in front of you. Every time I have been out testing it, the viz was 0,5-1m so I still have not had a chance to get some pictures of how the breather is fitting. But this Saturday I'm supposed to go to a coldwater training pool at a commercial diving school, so hopefully there I'll get a few shots. I suspect that the breathing hoses coming from the scrubber to the T-pieces can do with a bit of trimming, maybe taking 5 cm of the length to get it more streamlined. For big deco dives, I'll use the Narked@90 remote inflator, connected to the exhale counterlung. Have tested it a few times and found it really easy to do a complete gaschange in the loop and running the second or third bailout gas in SCR mode if needed. In fact, I have just ordred another Narked@90 inflator for my buddy to put on his breather. Well done to both Paul Channing and John Routley, now the Inspo is finally a unit that suit my needs. The machining is comparable in standard to larger scale manufacturers and even the disk with the manual is turned out well. Thank you. It is a totally personal service. I finish everything myself. That reminds me. I must get that extra info for the library to Louby. Look forward to using it next week. Weather is even improving (in Scotland). It been like pea soup here for ages. Let us know how you get on.Alex
