Why didn't you ask AP for an explanation as to why the Rebreather wasn't keeping set point, i would wan't to know if it eas my unit!? As to why I stayed on the loop . . . I knew how to deal with it so I just didn't see the point of coming off it. ![]()

Current Rebreather/s: | Re: manual o2 addition I had to go the other way just this afternoon, pressing the dill button after a high O2 warning, whilst practicing an emergency ascent from 30mt and maintaining the unit on 1.1 with the solenoid stuck open. Things got a little out of hand, when i added too much O2 and found myself at 1.85, but i stayed on the loop and did a QUICK dill flush! ![]()

I did, but after some muttering about re-crimping ends and rusty springs, i switched off. . . it just didn't stack up against what had actually happened. Whatever they did sorted it, but i don't believe it had anything to do with one of the molex connectors. It had all the charachteristics of a sodtware glitch, but far be it from me to suggest that was actually the case.Last edited by EBT : 21st January 2006 at 08:31. Reason: to attribute the quote |

Have a great weekend all - going down the garage to sort the unit for tomorrow's dive. All the best.
