Cheers, Dave Cooper. It took me ages to become comfortable with my choice of the YBOD. Allso here in Italy there aren't many allternatives!! ![]()

| XLVI WC! ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Vision - It Just Gets Better! Dave, this is what I am worried about - 4 months almost and nothing from them, not even a sorry - I went with AP as I had heard about their high standard of customer service!! (What a joke!) I get more and more disheartened with my unit everytime I look at it... £5500+ worth of kit sitting there; not because I can't dive it because of me... no I can't dive it because the manufacturer will not tell me whether it is safe to dive or not and that the d**m thing won't go together! If I dive it and things went tits up; it would be me that was liable not AP because they will not/ refuse to comment! Today is a sad sad day I am seriously considering getting rid of the unit and going for something else! I personally will not be recommending this setup to anyone else at the moment ![]() Thanks Mark for the dimensions; we are just getting the ones here together... borrowing a set of digital calipers to get the most accurate measurements we can ![]() Oh btw image below shows the 10mm distance between the canister and the head; where the 2 will not fit together ![]() ![]() EDIT... and believe it or not, it actually will hold a positive pressure check like this and will not budge ![]()

| Re: Vision - It Just Gets Better! Have you tried to put the lid on without the sorb container and spacer ring ? Sorry, I am just trying to understand where the problem lays. Is it between the lid and scrubber base ? Or because of a stacking problem with the spacer and sorb container ?

| Re: Vision - It Just Gets Better! Lou, Does it fit in without the O ring in place? The one around the head itself? Just wondering if it's something to do with the O-ring rather than the head... Trying it would help give a better idea anyway... |

| XLVI WC! ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Vision - It Just Gets Better! Hi Phi Yes, we've tried just about every which way possible to do this and it still doesn't fit; tried it with and without the sorb, spacer ring and o-ring in every different setup imaginable. Have doubled checked and checked again and still nothing. Beanie is doing his photography bit and is reeling off images of everything so we can show all the different ways we have tried. Bar taking the o-ring out the head to see if it fits this way, we have done everything else we can think of. EDIT just seen Mark's post, and about to try this way... ![]() Cheers Lou Quote: (Originally Posted by decoweenie) Have you tried to put the lid on without the sorb container and spacer ring ? | XLVI WC! ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Vision - It Just Gets Better! Ok then guys... Have tried without o-ring on the head and it fits..... just, with a bit of persuasion... enough so it passes a canister check... but is fairly tight to get it off again Putting the o-ring back on to the head... and making sure it is properly seated etc we go back to square 1 and it does not fit... so I think the problem has been routed to the o-ring on the head... next thing is to figure out if it is the head or the canister with the problem ![]() Nick... I would be but they are all closed up till next Tuesday... ![]()
