| Re: feedback on Decoweenie travelframe Ice skating off topic. Polar bears . I hope you not saying they are normally around when you dive. When it gets below 16 degrees C in the water I start to look forward to more Global Warming!! ![]()

| Re: feedback on Decoweenie travelframe I was kidding about the polar bears You need to go about 1300km north to find those. Our water temp max at depth is allways +4C, if diving the ocean it can be around 2C also.I am a really big guy, 172cm and 70kg... But I have a buffy undersuit... The handle seems to work nicely and it can be tucked inside the frame. I also attach all things on it when the unit is not on my back (crotch-strap, OC-reg, handsets etc) I also added a rubber liner to the upper opening on the frame. It prevents the hoses from touching the metal. |

Huhmm... we are the same exact size, so I think I need more fluffy undersuit to look more "manly"... Quote: The handle seems to work nicely... It looks so. I will copy the idea as soon as I could steal some bright-color webbing from somewhere.Quote: I also added a rubber liner to the upper opening on the frame. It prevents the hoses from touching the metal. That's a nice touch, but should not be necessary since the edges there were folded to prevent cutting into anything.I am glad to see that it looks like you are happy with the frame.. ![]()

Hopefully there isn`t going to be any snow or ice or polar bears No snow nor polar bear, but still cold on surface so I recommend a drysuit if you use a trilam just so that you will be warm from the wind when dekitting. And a nice warm jacket for going to eat at night.![]() Speaking of going to eat at night, you will encounter something worse than polar bears... the Eqyptian gauntlet of "restaurant draggers" (guys who try to drag you into their restautants)... Have fun, I am jealous... ![]()

What did you use to install the eyelets (brass rings) in the wing and counterlung? I was surprised when I took my unit apart to find holes simply punched through the material on the counter lung.Steve |
