| Re: feedback on Decoweenie travelframe Somebody showed me a nice little trick to make cam bands fit properly on smaller tanks, just put the metal half of the band buckle in a vice and bend it in a bit so it follows the shape of the tank better. The band will now lock off more securly. Warning I hold no responsibility for broken cam buckles if you try this!!!!!! Dave |

A bit If you want to use bigger tanks all the time then you will need our "drysuit frame" which we will build if there is enough interest Dave , but where do I show my interest in the dry suit frame ?? | Re: feedback on Decoweenie travelframe Quote: (Originally Posted by dave t) No I think they are the same size but we allowed a little more room in the frame for diffiering positions of the manifold and for those that have extras fitted to the manifold such as elbows or tee's. Also Bob howell style 4th cell holders need a little more space due to the shape of the fitting. Thanks Dave.. Makes senseWe did our best to keep it as tight as poss and still allow for variations of configuration. Better to use a velcro strap than to have some people not be able to get all their bits in. Dave ps I know this was for Phi but as I did most of the size testing it was easier for me to answer!!

Thanks Dave for fielding that... besides I have been out "testing" the X-scooter since 5AM this morning. We had a great time today. Had the boat drop us on dive site #1 (small wreck) and we scootered u/w to meet the boat again at dive site #2 about 1/2km away... Yes, if there is enough interest, we will commence work on the "Drysuit Frame" next week. I will let the discussion be on the other thread.

| Re: feedback on Decoweenie travelframe Here are some pictures of my unit mounted to the travel frame. I added a simple carry handle. I made it from harness webbing and attached it under the upper bolt that fixes the back plate to the frame. It is the yellow loop that is best visible in the last photo. JH Finland |

| Re: feedback on Decoweenie travelframe JH What is that white stuff on the bench? ![]() It looks cold and dark - diving in conditions like that - are you mad? I'll keep the ice in the glass with the scotch and stick to diving with palm trees and hulla girls! ![]()

| Re: feedback on Decoweenie travelframe The weather was really nice: dark, cold and snowy. That is the kind of diving we do here, luckily we don`t have to fight with the polar bears on the ice ![]() You seem to have a different climate there in Australia... |
