I was told that the reason that the bottom is different than the top is basically easier to make a stronger weld that way. We could weld like the top - this would make the weld slightly weaker, and it would also hold water (makes a cup) when standing vertically from a dive so it will stain more easily... There will be some minors changes on the 2nd batch:

| Re: feedback on Decoweenie travelframe Phi Talking of sharp edges, I see on a number of photos people have placed a 'rubber' beading around the top hole (where the hoses exit the box). Is this beading readily available off the net?? Fil |

| Re: feedback on Decoweenie travelframe Fil, I can't tell you for the obvious reason that I have no idea what different people used. Personally. there is no need for the top hole. I have rubbed a thin hose across those edges with a lot of force to test, and can't cut anything. Those edges are folded back so there is no sharpness to them at all.

Lou, Once I have my electronics sorted... he he I'm definitely up for one, I just need to find out about what is going on with my unit first, if this is going to be a saga I am extremely serious about switching units ![]() That was my frame at vobster for its first outing, now i have re arranged a few bits it is very good in the water with a reduced profile and easy to maintain a better aspect in the water(Not feet down). if you keep your unit i can recommend it to you. Good luck with your fight with APD....Just a thought, if the trimix version is OK, get them to upgrade yours FOC as a customer retention exercise. Just a thought! R Mike Phi/ Dave, Please note above, good job and a distinct improvement over the yellow box.

Many thanks for the feed-backs, it is always to hear positive things... ![]() BTW... If anyone else feel really happy about their Travel-Frame, I would REALLY appreciate a positive post on the Inspiration List as well since that is the market we are trying to pursue. If we could sell some more Travel-Frames, it will help to finance the Drysuit-Frame and BMCL projects. Otherwise it will take a little longer to get started due to the high number of components we have to commit to in order for the price to be affordable... ![]()

The pass the 2 ends through 2 holes in the center spine, then tie knots in the ends. 2) Use some webbing and attach with a bolt & nut through a hole on the center spine. Hope this helps. Steven |

| Re: feedback on Decoweenie travelframe Scott the travel frame is designed to use cambands to hold the cylinders in place, they work perfectly and as the cylinder is clamped tightly between the vertical tubes it adds to the rigidity of the frame best Dave |
