| Submerge Productions Current Rebreather/s: | I used the Decoweenie Travelframe for two one hour dives over the weekend. It worked great. I used it with a standard 16 KG APD wing and the low profile rebreather backplate from Golemgear. I added two KG on the top of the frame and six KG in my weight pouches on my belt. Stability and trim were fine. Also the drag was a lot less then with the yellow brick. I see absolutely no reason why this frame should not become the defacto standard for all Inspiration/Evolution divers that fly often. The entire unit including the frame will most likely fit into carry-on luggage and you can use whatever tanksize you want. The only complaint I have is "Phi, why did you wait so long with building/selling this frame!!!". Peter |

Can't please everyone... Thanks Peter for the feed-back, especially positive one. I hope the rest of the group will find it equally useful. After your upcoming trip, please make sure to provide more feed-back concerning the packability, weight and use in warm water as well.

| Submerge Productions Current Rebreather/s: | Re: feedback on Decoweenie travelframe Complete report will follow when we return mid January. I'll probably post some photos after next weekend. We had some planned for this weekend but my buddy had his macro lens on his camera. When did you say those BM-CL will be available? |

| Team Kinky Current Rebreather/s: | Re: feedback on Decoweenie travelframe Could you mount 2 cylinders each side? Perhaps a 7l and the 3l drive tank on each side? I know it's a travel frame and my question might be a bit OTT, but was just wondering. Certainly on the pics it looks like it's only one tank each side. Juz

| Re: feedback on Decoweenie travelframe I don't know if it is possible until we try. As you read, the primary goal was for ease of travel to warm water destinations where the majority of the dives are done with 2 x 3L rental tanks. So we tried to make it as slim as possible. There is no provision made for mounting 2 tanks per side. It could be done, but the 2 x 7L should be mounted forward (same as the 3L shown in the pictures), then strap the 2 x 3L to the remaining vertical rod and 7L. The 3L will not fit between the 2 vertical rods since the 7L will take most of the space on the side.

But this setup does not fall in the "streamlined" category.I know it's a travel frame and my question might be a bit OTT, but was just wondering. | Re: feedback on Decoweenie travelframe Nothing wrong with back mounting the 3's on the Weeniebox and use sidies, no? So traveling light and doing a bit of the deep stuff is still possible. I would not like to be half way through a deepie to find out that the Weeniebox isn't strong enough Fil |
