I was bit of a plonker at NDC on Sunday & let my unit fall off one of the benches on the pontoon... The only damage incurred was a small crack on the yellow lid, no problems during subsequent dive. Any tips on how to repair (or re-enforce) the crack so it doesn't get worse? JT Last edited by jptaylor9 : 25th May 2006 at 07:50.

Re: Cracked lid if you're not worried about the crack, but just want to stop it spreading. Drill a small hole at the end of the crack, and it will spread no further. HTH Simon A

Re: Cracked lid Find out from AP what material they use for the shell, then just find a solvent that works for that material. I am sure AP knows what glue to use.... If it were me and I couldn't bring myself to send them an e-mail and instead wanted to d things the hard way, just get some solvents like Toluene and dab a tad on an area of the shell you don't care about like the inside bottom and see if it softens the plastic.
