I liked the idea of a collapsible frame to give it back height when in use - ultra small for traveling but it shouldn't be longer than the current evo box when collapsed, maybe even shorter... I would buy that. Such a design is in the plan, but there are some considerations:

2. I understand the financially feasible, it is hopefully more affordable the more you can have made, perhaps it could be optimized for both scrubbers. It could save its own cost in just a few trips if it shaves a few lbs. off the current weigth since the new weight restrictions for flying. 3. 4" smaller is better. I didn't buy the current travel design for the length alone, I think it needs to be the same or less in length than the current APD rig. 4. In the water the current evo case is fine; fully rigged and on the surface it is short, trying to sit with the unit on is a little dificult, the adjustable evo travel frame would truly be an increased benefit. 5. Tanks will stick out like 3l on a meg??? not a big deal, protects the hoses and scrubber. If you are going to go "open case" it is really a moot point. 6. The lighter the better. I use a Stormcase 2750 to pack my evo which is a total weight of 56lbs without cylinders in the roller case, which was great before the change in travel weights, but currently is "overweight" both for domestic and international travel. If you create a well designed frame that is an improvement over the current APD case I'm sure you'll sell a bunch. Maybe it could even be built off of a backplate and really solve all of the issues on the evo design.
