"Ideal" frame for local diving (not to travel with)

I am planning the next project to design an "ideal" frame to be used for local diving - and not to travel with due to weight restriction.

So I declare this thread as the "Open-Source Frame" to fish for ideas, wishes and comments...

All ideas submitted will be free-for-all that means no one could claim right to them. And any could use the ideas in building their own frames.

To toss some ideas out:

Same design with different thicknesses between models to vary the weight for wet/drysuit divers.
Capable of taking large tanks for divers who wish to carry their bail-out tanks on their backs.
Capable of mounting up to 4 tanks (more ?).
Correct frame height for easy of gear up, and rest while wait on shot.
Adjustable points to mount backplate/BCD.
Top-load or back-load ?
Able to mount upright tanks or upside down tanks.
Minimize entanglement points.

Must have good handles/grip points - hefting a fully tooled up Box is not fun
Must protect 1st stages
All hose routing internal
Sensible tank attaching, not £120 g-snaps
Easy access to scrubber (see Padowan's excellent concept)
Solid cover so no snag points
MUST stand up on it's own, even on a heaving deck
Mustn't chew up the deck/paintwork
Must fit neatly into my boot
Must project loop forward, not up
Must be strong but cheap - doesn't have to be SS if ABS will do
That said, weight in the frame means less on the belt...

Sorry, all I could come up with. In single malt heaven at mo...

All good idears...

Make the frame light;
all attached weights (led or batteries/lights) should be easy to dump or hand of to surface/boat.
Ensuring plenty of buoyancy in a flood/ripped suit situation.

Include space for suit inflation tanks & regs.

Plus 4 O2 and dil tanks. 2 weenie ones for the breather and 2 deco ones for bale out. So that's 4 "deco - weenie" tanks....

You'd need to allow for combinations of 2, 3, ..... and 10 litre tanks.
