Halycon BackPlate Just got myself a new backplate as I want to get rid of AP harness. Do I use the existing holes in the backplate or drill fresh holes further up. also any tips on positioning d-rings for bailout cylinder. Cheers Taza

Re: Halycon BackPlate I just used the same holes that were there for the original harness and it worked great. As for the D rings, I started using the upper ones the same as I did for OC but have since moved to a side mount system. In between that I tried using the under the counterlung D rings (a hard ring that sticks out the side)to make it easier to hook in. Hope this helps Rob

| Re: Halycon BackPlate Hi Tazza, I too went with a Halcyon BP. I just used the standard holes. You will need the mounting hardware from Deep-sea supply if you are using the original box. I have now moved to a DT Box, but am still using my Halcyon BP. The one piece harness can be a bit of a pain to get on and off with the CL, but i guess you either put up with it or don’t use a one piece harness. Sorry no pics, but do a search here on RBW and you should find all you need. Cheers John

Re: Halycon BackPlate Drill some holes closer to the top. Helps with trim. Deep Sea supply, as mentioned, has a superb kit just for mounting to an Inspo. Be sure and get some under counterlung D-rings also. Deepsea supply has some and Diveriteexpress has some smaller ones. The stock harness leaves a lot to be desired. Others have done this and posted pics. I think NickUK and SimonK.

Re: Halycon BackPlate Cheers Guys. Bought the backplate adapter but not sure where the round disc should go, If it is meant to go in the counterbored hole behind the scrubber it won't fit,the disc is to big. Anyone got any pictures Cheers Taza
