I don't want to nit pick, but a recall notice recalls an item back to the manufacturer / service centre.

It isn't a PDF with a couple of photos telling owners to check and email if they think there's a problem.

Except in this case if you check your hoses and find a problem you then contact the factory who send you new hoses and you RETURN the defective ones to them which I think fits the name recall quite nicely......

When I registered my Evo, I sent my email address to my Evo dealer. Therefore, AP has its means to find out email addressed of all Insp and Evo owners theoretically.

IMHO, AP should send out email to all owners of Inspiration and Evolution to notify this recall.

I got my email prior to this thread, but in the email it said to post it widely. If you did'nt get one I would check your spam filter. Unless you unsubscribed to teh inspo/evo list from APD

Hi cramerdn,

Thank you for your post to call my attention to my email system. I came to realize that I have abandoned my email address that I used when I registered my Evo

Thus, AP may have sent email to my address that does not exist any longer, and I was not able to receive it.

Tonight I notified my Evo dealer of my new email address so that AP will be able to get in touch with me swiftly in future.
