| Re: Vision screen mark I have seen this happen on a number of visions. It could be something to do witht he handset being left out in the sun. I don't think it interferes with the readability of the screen underwater. |

Hi,I don't think it interferes with the readability of the screen underwater. Yes I have no problems with readability underswater but I don't know about the evolution of the mark... |

| Re: Vision screen mark IIRC, this was a known problem with a batch of Visions during 2007. The screens showed a 'hotspot' like this. If you search here, you'll find some posts/threads on it. APD replaced the screens free of charge, at least according to the posts here. I'd give them a call if I was you and find out. Good luck, Phil

| Re: Vision screen mark I was one of the people who had this "sunspot" effect ,initially AP acused me of leaving the handset in a hot vehicle or in direct sunlight which I had never done They did replace the handset free of charge so fair enough but I was then unlucky with the next handset were the components were potted to close to the screen causing further problems , I am now on my 3rd handset !

| Hello Manu, Hi Stephane,Please keep Fabrice informed as he's got the same spot on his brand new Vision (received 2 months ago). Thanks, Fabrice told me to send it back to Ap. He must send his screen during next winter. I will try to do the same but the problem is to stay 3 or 4 weeks without rebreather ... Or may be it will the occasion to try the Revo ![]() Kind regards, Manu. |

| Re: Vision screen mark Manu, this looks like a much lesser version of the dreaded spot that formed on both my and my wife's evolutions, particularly in warm water/air. It would get so bad that the LCD in that isolated area would dissappear. it was still usable. by the time we got around to talke with AP about it, it was a pretty publically known problem, so no dickering, they fixed it on both units...well, you know, with a trip half way around the world...5-7 week turn around. if your spot is not obstructing the reading of the LCD, i'd consider having them make a note that it is there, and have it fixed during it's annual overhaul to save a trip...just my two cents. the rEvo is a real nice dive! g
