| Dive porn pimp ![]() ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Lemon Yellow I'm happy as long as I can start a dive with 1 controller and 1 independent monitor, 2 controllers are fine, but the diver needs to be able to determine at all times what the po2 is and not trust blindly, that means a redundant po2 display in whatever form (I wouldnt even mind if it was in a single unit with isolated compartments and wiring so its only 1 pendant)... And that is a very good point.Having two controllers means either they share the solenoid (single common failure point) or they must have a solenoid each. If there is a solenoid for each, then you need isolation for those solenoids in case of a "stuck open" scenario. Now we are over complicating. If you have one solenoid to one controller with alarms or detection of solenoid failure in addition to an independant secondary display , then the backup injection system is MK1 eyball and the computer between your ears. As long as you are given all the right information, then there should be no effort in dealing with a primary failure. Brent
