I am toying with the idea of getting the hammerhead for my YBOD.
I have ordered the vison, but After speaking to a few people they have
told me to think about the hammerhead.

Has any one got any comments on the new hammerhead.
It is a lot cheaper than vision and I like the hand sets.
As they seem to be able to be used on there own
Also the waiting time is alot less.

I was in the same boat you are, and I went with the HH. I love it. Build quality is excellant, nothing bad to say about it.

The new HH cannot be used as independent dive computer. There were too many problems with divers screwing up the connector.

I got my HH withing three weeks.

I've over 100 hours on my HH electronics (O2ptima prototype) and never let me down, just need use 3.6 v AA battery because the regular 1.5 v dies way to fast on the primary display. I don't recommend long dives like a trimix using AA 1.5v .
About the new version I can't say nothing yet; our new units will be delivery on the end of this month but a soon I start dive I'll post here.
