There is a battery with a certain power capacity that reduces totally linearly as the battery is discharged.horrorbus and smeg how do they get over the sharp drop off? ada The amount of charge left can be measured from the voltage, load and temperature. There is a polynomial relationship between those parameters and remaining capacity. The accuracy in which that relationship is modelled varies between different rebreathers. As the full details are published, there is no reason why anyone should have any significant error in this calculation for new product designs. Alex |

The problem is using rechargeables with a unit that wasn't designed for them. Simon A |

Simon A just like some of the other manufacturers it would be so handy a pack you can recharge or pop in 2 batteries best of both worlds!! that must be easy to sort ada ![]() |

| Re: Who has used rechargeable batteries Ive always found breathing o2 at 6m to be a great idea ![]() Ask your instructor about it ![]() j What a good joke, I cannot stop laughing ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() More seriously, it's certainly a good idea with a rebreather, I practice this way for over two years now with my good old Dolphin, I would never do it in OC...
