Who has used rechargeable batteries

Thanx all for the wide cross section of views.

I probably knew the answer before I wrote it but I certainly am chewing up batteries half as fast again as my mate with his classic.

If your Visions battery life is significantly shorter than it should be, you might want to have the head checked at the factory and get the new solenoid as well.

so what units out there use rechargeable batteries as i know some do like the
horrorbus and smeg how do they get over the sharp drop off?

Very difficult for me to understand the language or to get the idea?

I have seen that the price of the battery and the availabilty is worse than earlier. I guess I would have had less bad surprices with rechargables than with batteries. I am measuring my batteries and using all the capacity. Sometimes new battery has been dead immediately. I would know much more abaout burn tested rechargable.

I do not thrust on low battery warning as I have seen bad connections causing solenoid not to work before low batt.

to save some battery life just turn the unit off on the 6m stop and run it as an o2 manual rebreather! with the 02 button!

Our dives are always very important for us.

We do not like to miss one because of bad planning, preparation or equipment failure. I have a history on my Classic without ever changing the plan. I just begin to feel that it might be easier with tested rechargables. I suppose my planning with Li-ion primary light and scooter is based on better knowledge.

You could always just turn on one handset per dive on a classic! alternating between left and right

have you ever dun this on a dive below 120m ?

and whats the point in the buzzer as you cant hear it over the mp3 player

the vision is a pain in the arse as it stops logging
the dive if you turn it off at 6m
