| shortening hope pipe I find that the mouthpiece to be heavy and sitting on my bottom jaw during a dive with the feeling of trying to redesign my top front teeth at the same time. I think by shortening the hose pipe a little this might sort out my problem but.......... would this put a dangerous strain on the fittings in general. Anybody done this ????? |

| Re: shortening hope pipe Firstly before cutting the loop hoses . Have you tried moving the weights ? Try twisting the "T" pieces so they point outwards more Try twisting the loop hoses in relation to the "T" pieces .Put your hands on the hose fitting at the T piece end & turn your hands inwards will make the mouth piece twist upwards in your mouth . The only other issue could be if you had standard hoses & then fitted an ADV as the ADV side hose is shorter than a standard one HTH
