Handset placing

Hello!

I have my Handset(vision) on the left hand.
My problem is that the hose for the handset is toooo long.

-is it better to clip the handset with a boltsnap on a d-ring?
-or leave the handset where it is?

any ideas?

thanks
regards anton

Re: Handset placing

I wear the handset with the 1st strap around my wrist but the 2nd strap around my hand with my thumb free - like a goodman handle. No probs with the unit rotating around your wrist. Always there, easy to read and allows full range of hand movement.

To shorten the hose I leave a little loop inside the case, sort of like a question mark shape and run the hose down the first two velcro tabs on the outside of the exhale counterlung alongside the dil inflate hose. This ensures that there are no big loops of hose to get caught up on things (bits of wreck etc..) but also allows full range of arm movement. Depending on how your lungs sit will determine how many velcro tabs you can store the hose in. Certainly one, possibly two. Stick the unit on and have a look in the mirror to check.

Just my way - hope it helps

Graham

Re: Handset placing

it might sound crude but i tuck in a few inches of cable inside the box, creating a small loop.

This way it gets really close to my arm.
