hi,
have you some news for apd bov?
I order an evo +, and I want a bov, but no answer from apd when I asked for this with my order.

I have seen units with it at LIDS this year and they have said it's ready for shipping. See the picture I have taken.

If they had been ready for shipping I would have bought one.

However I seem to have other plans now.

'I don’t have any confirmed details of the new mouthpiece as yet – but I will ensure that you are sent these details as soon as they are available. '

This is taking a long time!!!

I have spoke with Ed at Silent Diving (US Branch APD) and emailed him a few times with no response back. Rebreather Express in South Florida is a distributor of APD Rebreathers, accessories and parts and when I spoke to them I was told that they were not aware of any new parts from APD.

I visited JJ today to look at a possible adaption for rEvo, so I has a look at the standard version for Inspo, and it looks very nice. They seems easy to turn (same way as inspo) and easy to take apart for maintenance.

I've only ever held a Golem BOV, and never dived any BOV's at all, but its nice and compact, with few moving parts and assemblies. Besides that I got to drool over some of their other equipment - cats meow that one

I'll try to remember my camera, when I go there next time. And I'll report when I get my piece wet (soon).

Hi to all APD customers !

I have order a complete configuration including an Inspiration and other products... All I can say (and I'm since over 20 years in the business as a sales Rep.) is that they have a quiet strange business behavior:

- it's very difficult to place an order,
- it's very difficult to get information about when it will be shipped,
- in general, it's very difficult to do business with them...

I hope really it will change... but maybe I just cannot understand why they do it this way...

So, the BOV story is nothing new and the distributor in the USA is typically giving you a politically correct answer...

So wait and see !

Nicolai were they able to adapt it for a rEvo? Looking forward to a report, how do you like the size and wob?
