Vision Mounting

I would like to change the wrist straps on my Vision display, but an not sure what is available. I looked at the necklace that APD supplied, but I am not real excited about it. The stock wrist straps are just too hard to secure with a drysuit and dry gloves. I would like to get it to a bungee mount. On the same note it would be nice to see if anyone has setup a bungee mount for my VR3. Thanks for the insight. Cory

How about their new wrist straps.. almost identical to the elasticated ones on a VR3. Piece of cake to put on as you can pull it over your wrist and then tighten up the straps

Would agree with Steve, although I actually bought VR£ straps & fitted them works real easy & the beauty is you can just pinch the clips to remove .

Can you buy the newer VR3 style straps from AP or SDS?

If so, how hard or easy was it to install them?

I got mine installed by APD during a head service

They are dead simple to fit, Just undo the hex head bolts at the back of your controller, Take out the old rubber straps, Lay your new straps,surgical tubing,bungee etc. etc. into the channel, replace back , tighten bolts, Bobs your mothers brother.Cheers Baloo

Attention!

Dont undo the yellow hex head bold!!!! you loose your guarante!!

you can let it in and turn the alu plate to the side.

I never undid any bolts to fit the Vr3 straps to my handset

just fed the elastic under the holding pin with a thin screwdriver.

The new straps are brilliant, but near impossible to fit unless you remove the back plate (on my unit at least). I struggled to even fit the rubber straps.
