New Decoweenie Travel-Frame

Just a heads-up on what is coming very soon as the prototype (shown below) is still under more fine-tuning...
  • Removable feet
  • Black anodized
  • 3-kg / 6.5-lb with everything, less without feet
  • QR cover
  • Fits Vision and Classic, HH shouldn't be any problem
  • Super light-weight QR tank adapters (still undecided if will be included)
Most likely around 450 Euro, plus 50 Euro shipping within Europe (i.e. EU). More for shipping outside of EU, exact costs will be determined shortly.

More details will come shortly, we just want to gauge the level of interest to order raw materials for the first batch.

Who is interested ?

(I am leaving tomorrow morning for 4-days in the Red Sea so reply will be slow, Steven might step in if needed)

Re: New Decoweenie Travel-Frame

Hi Phi,

The new frame looks great. My "old" travelframe is still going strong, but I'm very tempted.

Re: New Decoweenie Travel-Frame

Hi,

Nice work with the frame. How is your trim when using it? Just wondering where did you get a hold of a blue color hose, I'm trying to replacing my standard hoses to make them color coded (Yellow, Green, Blue if possible) in order to separate them from the black electronics wires.

Best Regards. Wael

You beat me to it. I was just going to ask the same ?. where did you find the blue hoses? I have yellow and green, but can't find blue.

Re: New Decoweenie Travel-Frame

Hi,

Well, I guess there are many picky people around here so it's just a matter who jumps into it first. I checked the Swaglog doc but still couldn't find any colored hoses. Would appreciate some reference.

Re: New Decoweenie Travel-Frame

Hi Wael,

Want a reference? Look at page 17 of the catalog, PB-4 hose.
For the blue color, it is simply PB-4
For the red color, it's PB-4-RD, easy no?

And before you ask, there is an adapter that fits into a first stage port: SS-PB4-ST3. Yes, it does exist, even if your local Swagelok dealer tells you you're a fool!

Re: New Decoweenie Travel-Frame

I am in the market for a frame. What material is this made from? Also will there be a carry handle and will you have slots for cylinder cam bands to be used? Also do you have a less VAT price?

Regards

John
