Is any one using the Custom Divers VBS wing and back plate on their Inspiration?

Feed back would be great as Im thinking of changing.

Cheers

Re: Inspiration with vbs wing

Yeah,

We're using this setup. Had to modify the plate by drilling a hole nearer the top of the plate and one further down. Drilling was ok because we have ali plates. Steel may cause you more of a problem. Got hold of some longer bolts, cut these to the right length and attached the plate with the ap nuts.

Re: Inspiration with vbs wing

We've got the largest lift version, with a double bladder for redundancy. Haven't had the need to open the compartments up yet. Only had one ali side sling. Maybe if we dive with two slings or use steels may open up the side compartments for the exta lift.

Hi Toe, I have a VBS on my Inspo, its a fantastic wing and very flexible, I have used it with one 7 ltr side mount steel and also 2, 11 ltr Ali's. Fitted direct to my Travel box with no back plate. Very solid but lots of scope for kit configuration. Excellent wing, keeps me high out of the water, esp when sea is a bit rough, last weekend kept me nice and high while waiting for my taxi to pick me up.
Because of the shape hoses don't get crushed even when fully inflated, also looks the dogs Boll**ks. Cheers Yoda
