Extensive testing has been carried out to ensure that neither system interferes with each other. Isolation between the SW and the parent system is high enough that there is insufficient signal degredation to affect the cell readings.
Formal testing to validate this was carried out and failures were simulated in each sub-system to record its effect.
Practical testing followed with dives to over 90m over the last few weeks. Datalogs for each sub-system were compared for any discrepancies the diver may have missed during evaluation. I have published one of the plots from a test dive on the first post.
I'm hoping this is true for the HUD also, I have it on the classic and love it.
I'm thinking that if I go Vision I'll hook my HUD up to do the same thing.

The vision kit here is different to the Classic. We do sell a Classic version. It is a different cell holder and cable. We will put up a page on our site for these next week for you.

Brent,

I already have a cell holder. So what exactly would the £137.58 buy me? I hope it is more than an a cable and some splitters.
Another question. Is that ex VAT? I want to buy via my company (VAT registered). So normally I can buy without VAT in the UK (inter EU VAT laws).

Yes, it also monitors 3 cells. The price is different. We'll get round to putting it up asap.

Peter,

We do a cheaper version. It comes as parts only for you to assemble yourself. It has no R&D done on it, no testing and no 'Narked at 90' warranty. You have to go direct to Fischer and get the connector (after you work out their part number system) and order minimum quantities. Unfortunately there is a 6 week lead time on parts if you are a large quantity user. Then you can get the cable from a friend or colleague who has a roll that you can get a metre or so off. You should buy the assembly tool from Fischer, dont forget to pot the connector when your done and test it because otherwise you might complain to yourself if its wrong and you will also have to scrap a £39 plug. The SMB cables and connectors should be easy to find once someone sees our design and then you can plagarise it like others in the dive community will do sooner or later. Obviously you will save on labour because you dont do this for a business and have to pay wages, accountants and corporation tax etc.
