Extensive testing has been carried out to ensure that neither system interferes with each other. Isolation between the SW and the parent system is high enough that there is insufficient signal degredation to affect the cell readings.
Formal testing to validate this was carried out and failures were simulated in each sub-system to record its effect.
Practical testing followed with dives to over 90m over the last few weeks. Datalogs for each sub-system were compared for any discrepancies the diver may have missed during evaluation. I have published one of the plots from a test dive on the first post.

I would keep it simple. What you could do is
1. extra hole in the 4th cell holder
2. inline orifice
3. a second O2 bottle with a fixed reg.

You could also do other things like using double tank valves, one for the fixed reg and one for the normal reg. Or a needle type valve...

Looking forward to your solution. Any idea when it will be availble?

our system will be simple but novel! it wont be for some time as this is not our priority at the moment but it is some thingon the back burners
