I recommend to do a search on this forum because this has already been dicussed at length.

But to get you started:
  • scrim
  • 2 spare sets of batteries
  • spare solenoid + instructions on how to install it
  • hose repair kit
  • spare o-rings (hose, cannister, manual inflator, adv, mouth piece)
  • inner tube to repair a hole in a hose
  • all the necessary allan keys
  • silicon grease
  • hose removal tool
  • spare hose
HTH,

Peter

Hi,

I would add to what Peter said the following:

- 2 Extra oxygen cells (1 opened and 1 sealed)
- O2 compatible lubricant
- Depending on the quality of air they have but I would take a small personal filter as I personally can't be cautious enough when being suspicious.
- Disinfection liquid, powder or tablets (for disinfecting the counter lungs and loop hoses)

Best Regards. Wael

Re: Whats in your spares kit ?

The lists above pretty much cover it, short of taking a total spare box you can only expect so much.

I had never of thought about taking some inner tube - nice idea.

Hope you enjoy your trip - where are you going exactly?

John

Very nice!

Do you fancy writing a quick 'over-view' after the week?

I'm interested in doing some new stuff in the UK.

What sort of dpeths are they?

It’s not deep stuff, there are a lot of open circuit sports divers in the club , some of the wrecks are on this website http://www.divemagazine.co.uk/news/article.asp?UAN=4266&v=5&sp=332897698662344505414

I can thoroughly recommend this area - wonderful diving.

Not much to add on the spares, as the list is similar to what I take - not had a problem yet with mine that needed them (touch wood).

Cheers,

Is it a long weekend over Easter? I'm off there tomorrow, we're on Silver Swift out of Tob.
I'll be on my Kiss Classic.

Might see you there.
