Is it possible to change the connector on manual gas addition buttons?

I would like to change the connector on the button to the same kind that I have on dry suit and bcd. Has anyone taken the button to pieces?

I can not find LP hoses that will connect to the manual button. It seems that the connector on the button side is a bit longer than most on BCDs etc.

I would like to use the ones that most divers use, kinda like DIR

But I could think that all YBOD divers use the one that AP sells...

Yeah I think most inspo divers go to the app connectors all round as its easier to do the buttons have non standard thread sizes but AP do standard size nipples and also then they fit the nice adjustable hoses

Just my 2p anyway

Really interesting to read this - I had not realisied AP used non standard nipples and connectors - all mine and Sarahs fittings everywhere are just standard LPI connectors.

they are not non standard there just not quite the same as standard nipples there about 1/8" longer.
Also means that AP hoses don't always work on standard nipples

my drysuit nipple (hand crafted by me)

I think I will explore the option to just simply shorten the AP nipple to fit standard hoses.

you can make an AP fitting work on the normal nipples by just turning the schreader valve out a bit,
