Inpo divers Where do you clip your reel's?

This question is for Inspo divers who clip their Bail out cylinders on each side, clipped to front of armpit D rings and wing D rings

Got primary reel and backup reel to clip on, don't want them hanging below the body.
Where do you clip yours on?

considering stage removal etc.Cheers

My primary is clipped on the right wing D-ring, my backup is in a pocket on my dry suit (is smaller). Never had a problem distinguishing between reel & cylinder.

Re: Inpo divers Where do you clip your reel's?

With the stock harness, right hip, as mentioned, along with the SMB (it tucks up nicely) against the wing. Not a problem, even with stages/bailout on both arms. Verti-clips help immensely with the rear side d-rings, and are well worth the few bucks APD charges for them.

Once I got rid of that stock harness and moved to a backplate, with a normal single piece harness, then the reel goes at the rear crotch strap d-ring, and my backup spool in the pocket with the SMB. Everything is back to where it belongs I had issues reaching the back tie-off ring with the stock harness...heck, I had issues with _everything_ on the stock harness.

On spit rings on the side of my back plate.

One on either side and spool in drysuit pocket.

You may be able to do a similar thing using the drings on the side of the back of the harness.

might be you can take them of underwater but not get them on, can always clip them to something else if needed.

On my nipple rings. Although it is more difficult when wearing a drysuit.

I am very un-enthused about clipping things to my bouyancy device. I went to standard back plate and harness and clip there. I wish I could remove the D rings from the wing all togeather to reduce entanglement issues but it looks like I will be replacing the entire AP wing soon anyway.

Verti-clips are just bits of plastic that fit to the existing wing D-rings to make them fixed & easier to attach things to. There not a replacement...

Confirmed. I popped the verti clips off of the D rings on my ap wing so they now flop around loosly. I don't clip to them anyway and now they don't stick straight out; getting in the way when putting the unit into its pelican case.
