![]() | Correct size Inspo harness? I recently got my new Inspo Vision with large harness and lungs but I am finding that the hoses are pressing in either side of my head. I read the manual and it says that maybe I have it positioned too high up on my back and to drop it down, but even though when I am seated I have the base of the Inspo also 'on the seat'. This disnt seem to be the case when I did my training on a unit which I think had medium lungs (not sure on size of the harness though). My thoughts now are: 1) I still need to move the unit further down my back....hang it around my ankles? 2) I have the wrong sized lungs/harness combination. Any thoughts? PS. I am 6ft tall and got my 'hoop' measurement taken at Eau2 in Egham so I trusted they knew what they were doing.

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Correct size Inspo harness? I'm 6 feet tall and 200 lbs. I use a large harness and medium c/l and this fits me just fine. The large c/l are far too large for virtually anyone. The volume is much more than a human lung would need and they always seem to hang really low on all but the tallest divers. You may want to look into trading for a medium. Dave |

I have large lungs and originally had the large harness. I'm now using an s/s backplate, as I didn't find the fit of the harness that good.I've just compared the height of the medium and large lungs above the t-piece and they look to be exactly the same. If there is a difference, it's less than 0.5 cm. From what I found when playing around with my harness, if the t-pieces or hoses are banging your head, then it's to do with the unit being too high or too low on your back. I have no problems with the large lungs (but I'm slightly taller than you). I haven't tried the mediums yet, as they are for my wife, but I am intending to. Good luck,

I did try turning the T pieces so the mouthpiece hoses were facing more outwards and it made a small difference but after a while they just swivelled to back where they were originally. Is it possible to tighten the mounting of the T's onto the lungs to prevent swivelling?
